The Balkan Project

I have always been very passionate about music from the Balkans and further east. Here, you can listen to a demo of a modern jazz interpretation of Kalimankou Denkou, a Bulgarian folk song. Additionally, you’ll find Gnossienne by Erik Satie and two Romanian folk songs arranged by Béla Bartók: Pe Loc and Buciumeana.

Please note that these are only demos and contain some imperfections.
